Nestled in the Yakima Valley, Toppenish High School students and teachers are our most geographically remote WGHAA member. While far from the Seattle center (180 miles east of Seattle), Toppenish students are prepared for world-class, post-secondary experiences. For example, in 2009, Toppenish High School was recognized as a 2009 Silver Medal School by the US News and World Report, “One of America’s Best High Schools.”
Toppenish students flourish with the support of many well-qualified faculty members; with three nationally board certified teachers and ten more teachers currently awaiting national board certification results. Having raised over $50,000 for the Children’s Miracle Network over the last 5 years, Toppenish’s nearly 800 globally conscientious students are eager and well-suited members of the WGHAA.
