Travelling to Seatac Airport? Then you are headed to the home of the Highline School District. Starting with the aeronautic themed Aviation High School, the District has commenced an initiative of contextual learning for their secondary students. HS3’s mission is to prepare students to be competent and self-sufficient individuals, who seek to better themselves through learning and service to others. Health Science and Human Services High School (HS3) embraces the WGHA mission with its vision that students will contextually learn core subjects of math, science, language arts and social studies related to health much in the same way that mathematicians, scientists, writers and historians go about their daily work. HS3 faculty support their diverse student body by working with community partners to develop academic excellence, positive self-esteem, responsibility, school pride and global awareness in a safe environment.
