Footsteps from the Peace Arch at the US-Canadian Border lies Blaine High School.  Nearly 700 students, grades 9-12, attend this internationally-focused campus, learning under the school mission to provide an environment where students will become competent and responsible citizens, able to contribute to the total well being of self, family and community, thereby enjoying productive and self-satisfying lives.

Blaine’s programs aim to provide students with multiple opportunities to practice problem-solving and critical thinking skills through various content areas including History, English, P.E., Health, Science, Vocational education, Music and Fine arts.  While over 100 miles from the Seattle Global Health Community, Blaine students enjoy a repertoire of supporting programs including: AVID, GEAR UP, Tech Prep, CTE courses, Math team, Chess team and the Technology Student Association. 

Blaine High School’s culture studies focus on ensuring that students understand the importance of respect for themselves and others and demonstrate behavior that reflects the concept of empathy.
